Stone & Quill is a breath of fresh air for Southern Oregon used bookstores! A women owned business, these ladies have worked tirelessly to transform their space from outdated and aged to a welcoming place full of great energy and love for all things we readers enjoy. The books have new life breathed in to them. The selection is ever growing. The merchandise sold there by local artists is amazingly crafted and are all must-haves. Victoria and Emmalee are SUCH incredible people and their love for books is beyond words. My boyfriend and I have spent HOURS in the store discussing everything from heart-warming old book adventures to anticipation of new releases that we are dying to get our hands on. The “Hello! Welcome in!” received the moment you open the door is sure to bring a smile to your face. Stone & Quill is a must-visit used bookstore for any reader. Victoria and Emmalee, hats off and snaps to you! It’s an honor to know you both.

Updated review for Stone and Quill: So I finally made it down for the first time since it changed ownership, and it was great! The new owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable, the shelves are neat, it feels way more spacious than it was before, and they did a great job with making it catch your eye when you're driving by. The selection is still fantastic, all benefits the previous owner offered have been kept (at least to my knowledge, and she really didn't have to keep all points, credit, etc. but she did and that was very kind) which was a plus I wasn't expecting. Ended up picking a couple books out and plan on returning soon for more.

Such a wonderful bookstore. Cozy vibes, great selection to peruse, and pleasant owners who are happy to talk books or to leave you alone while you browse. The new owners have really done an amazing job revitalizing the store and making it feel much more welcoming. Definitely worth stopping by often to check out what new inventory they have.

Very friendly and peaceful atmosphere somewhere I’d like to just sit on the couch in there, read a book and socialize. Out of all the bookstores I’ve shopped at this one would be overall my favorite.

This place is absolutely whimsical. Emmalee and Victoria are such amazing people to talk too and really help you with anything you need!! I tell everyone about them!! Highly recommend visiting!!

A great store with a great selection and amazing owners. I always look forward to my visits at Stone & Quill. I never know what new books I might find when I go in to shop, but I do know I will be welcomed by the store's wonderful owners like I'm an old friend. These ladies accomplished their goal of making this store a haven where everyone feels like they belong. 1000% recommend checking out Stone & Quill for all of your book needs.

This bookstore ya'll..... the vibes are SO correct. Dream Team Victoria and Emmalee have created a great atomosphere and worked dilligently to amass a unique collection of rare books and limited editions you won't find anywhere else. (And excellent stickers, bookmarks and jewlery from local artisans). Since taking over the space, their ever-expanding genre diversity and influx of new authors' works is sure to delight. Browse the tea selection, settle into one of their cozy chairs and crack open a freshly purchased book. This is certainly an independent bookstore that offers WAY more vibes than your average corporate BnN. It's truly a safe space for ALL types bookworms.
